WIP !!!!
Quite opposite to 2011, which featured both freakingly awesome releases (Terra Tenebrosa, Lazuli, Thy Catafalque...) and crap that redefined crap (Lulu or Illud Divinum Isanus), 2012 was quite consistent. Sadly, consistently average. OK, consistently quite correct, but groundbreaking releases were few and far between...
Sadly, most albums released this year suffered badly to my few delving in past musical works - Vulture Industries's [album]The Malefactor's Bloody Register[/album], Dälek, Abney Park, Jorn Zorn (including of course some Painkiller and Naked City goodness)...
As always with my yearly lists, there are two parts, sorted each by alpha order. The five four albums are what I consider to be this year's greatest's stuff. The other are "just" good albums I enjoyed a lot

Moonspell - Alpha Noir / Omega White Omega White is the Moonspell we love - but both feature great songs. |

Stolen Babies - Naught Less wacky than their first album, but still mightily enjoyable. |

The Blood Of Heroes - The Waking Nightmare Hip-hop meets Godflesh, with a brilliant result. |

Vortech - Devoid Of Life Great, catchy electro/industrial death metal. Love it! |
