For Death I would have probably put in Leprosy or Human

Thats fair enough. Sound of Perseverence was one of the first extreme metal albums I heard, so it changed things for me dramatically. Most of them are there because they opened my mind to different styles of music and literally changed the way I listened to music, hence the selection. And most of them of are prog or avant garde albums, because im a pretentious twat.

I quite agree with your choices! Most of these albums/artists also changed my life. I would just pick Leaving Your body Map instead of Bath by the mighty Maudlin Of The Well (here featured as Kayo Dot) and a previous Death album instead of The Sound but all in all it reflects a lot what turned me into a metal addict.

Guess I have to pay more attention to With Echoes In The Movement Of Stone since it's the only one i'm not familiar with.

Good job!

It's a post metal album, so if you're into that sort of thing, I think you'll really enjoy it.
