A bit like a female-fronted Symphony X in all honesty... many bands try and fail at the 'epic cinematic' style but few really achieve what this album does. The production feels a bit empty at times, the vocals are a little bit consistently soft, but this doesn't stop it from being one of the best symphonic metal albums I've ever listened to... the vanilla symphonic genre seems always the same - female vocals and generic symphonies brought to the front, and everything else pushed to the back. This band avoids this dilemma and delivers a very good album.
Many highlights, every song is great except the bonus track.
