New Jethro Tull song 'Sad City Sisters' out now, watch the new video directed by Sam Chegini

"Sad City Sisters throws up memories of a Saturday night in Cardiff, Wales when I was on my way home from our concert in St David's Hall some years ago. It could equally well have been any town in the UK, I suppose, or even most cities of the Western World. What possesses hell-bent and vulnerable young people to slip so easily into that tragic loss of dignity and end up sprawling drunk in a wet and windy street at midnight?" - Ian Anderson

Standard folk sounding song, hence it's something I'd normally skip on subsequent listens. Band (Ian) has lost their (his) creativity at some point in the past.

They are as old bands at age, after 40 creativity is gone

So did Jethro Tull (Crest of a Knave and Roots to Branches are must listen IMO).
Ian Anderson is born in 1947. The guys from Pink Floyd are born close to that (Waters being the oldest, born in1944). So the guys from Tull and Floyd were in their 40s in the second half of the 1980s. So I don't get your point here.

Didn't care for the opening song, but after that I really got into it. Much better than I expected.

Not a bad album, some good moments, but nothing here to make me really think wow. Some songs here I didn't care much for, but some songs I like, my favourites being "Sad City Sisters" and "The Zealot Gene".

I liked it, I see some harsh ratings. Oh well, JT got their own sound and they stuck with it. Some catchy tunes. Put me in the mood to listen to some more JT and I'm gonna do a little marathon (until I want to listen to something else).
