I have made my mind and going to my second ever Brutal Assault. Three of my friends are going so I decided to join them in this quest! Never seen and most anticipated are: Dodheimsgard, Emperor, Exodus, Obscura, Primordial, The Black Dahlia Murder and Sadus. Already seen but beloved so happy to see them again are Behemoth, Cryptopsy, Deicide, Incantation, My Dying Bride, Satyricon, Testament, Terrorizer. That's already 15 must watch. I am sure I will not be bored in between as will love to check some of the sludge like Uffomammut or deathcore with Whitechapel, prog with my compatriots of Riverside and many others interesting bands already on schedule . Reallistically max you can see on one day is 9 to 10 bands so 60% announcements already the schedule seems full with. Happy to be there again, probobly the best festival in Europe, no cheesy stuff but all meet! Heaven for true metal fan, hell for posers Nowhere to hide from brutality

Last years lineup was stronger in my opinion, but this time the chance is higher to discover new bands. I did not even visit everything on the area last year because it was my first time there and I was pretty overwhelmed
Also more good bands playing at the same time this year: Carcass & 1914, Testament & Baroness, Satyricon & Soil, Primordial & Julie Christmas.
Looks like the Thursday has the most bands for me, but every day has great bands, even the warmup day.
