I must admit after a few more listens this is growing on me. The transitions definitely seem less jarring now.

Someone said they should just drop the death metal, and go full out space rock. I'm inclined to agree, because I think they've got a genre masterpiece in them along the lines of Pink Floyd or Hawkwind.

I think I still prefer Starspawn and Hidden History at this point, but that might change over time as well.

To people who are like me that dislike death metal, give this album a try. It's really something else entirely. It's an incredible psych-prog ride that I don't even know who to compare to.

I just wish that they had gone for some different artwork, because this one just screams generic tech-death wankery.

That’s too bad, I actually loved this cover but I’m also a sucker for this art style and anything cosmic in theme
