Another Dissection and Necrophobic inspired band, that have produced another decent album here, but it isn't a classic by melodic black metal standards, and there's nothing entirely new to the sound here, although there are a few minor things that stand out, the riffs seem more technical than straight forward melodic, the melodies aren't particularly memorable or exciting to me, but they are decent.

And the more you listen, the more you hear the Chuck inspired guitarwork going on too, which is pretty cool, also the bass work is fantastic. For me the best way to describe this is a blend of Death and Dissection. "Repression", "Timbre of Infinity", "Arcane Wanderer" are probably my favourite tracks.

Bad English
Tage Westerlund
Good structure, it has ''space'' theme impresion to me, a bit black, prog vibes, whit ''gothic'' vocals. A bit Enslaved here but heavier, different. Good album.

I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens.

I was about to comment here that I could hear a lot of Symbolic-era Death in some of the song intros, and there I see you've already mentioned this

Timbre Of Infinity my pick of the bunch here, that song slays

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has picked up on the Death influences . This is a very good album, one of my favourites so far this year, and I agree with you about "Timbre Of Infinity", that's a great song, probably my favourite too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has picked up on the Death influences .

For what it's worth, and based on your comments on album threads, I hear the same things as you do 99% of the time.

In this case, I hear those Death influences too. This is their best album for me, their most progressive, and the songwriting is superior to what they have released before. "Repression" and "Timbre Of Infinity" are the tracks that stand out for me too, but the whole album is good.

Ooohh this is great
When I heard the first two tracks I thought this sounds like fairly standard black metal. But after "Repression" those Sound of Perseverance influences really kick in
(And I've now gone back to the first tracks and realize they're just as great)

I'm especially a fan of the last three songs: "Timbre of Infinity" and "Arcane Wanderer" are two epics with alternating slower, atmospheric sections with catchy riffing - plus cool space lyrics. And the closing instrumental "Laniakea" is really sweet!

(By the way, "Laniakea" is the name for the 500 million light year wide supercluster of over 100,000 galaxies - including our own Milky Way!)
