This is good, ''raw'' unpolished, good quality heavy metal, whit doom inspiration and psyhodlic rock vibes and even acoustic touches, whit good weird dark witchcraft lyrics. I like this one.

Wow This album is not at all what I expected, at first listen I could of easily mistaken it for a 70's electric folk rock band, with the female vocal style, heavy bass emphasis, and accoutic passages, this sounds similar to something Pentangle would do, but with a doomy sounding tone to it.

The production clearly needs improving on, but with some more decent guitar leads, and with a wee bit of tweaking in the songwriting department, I can Imagine myself getting Into this band, that's if they stick with the medieval lyrical themes.

Overall not a bad album, all the right elements, but alot of improving to be done.

Damn, twas unexpectedly good

All the bands Nik mentioned in his staff pick are good comparisons, but what this sounds like to me more than anything else is a heavier version of Steeleye Span, and that's the coolest thing of all. Without sounding at all artificial in its aesthetic, I might add.
