Wow!!

Nowhere near as good as their first album. It seems they have lost most of their sense of melody. Maybe it will grow on me....

Good song tittles, lyrics atmosphere is there, guidar riffs, interesting composition of music also folk instruments there, i hear some whistles there. I like it.

I'm usually drawn to album covers such as these, it's the blue and black colours with the wintery scenery gives me the chills.
The atmosphere on this album doesn't dissapoint, there is a cold, dark, wintery atmosphere, and with the eerie pagan chanting in the background, along with the short soft instrumental sections this builds up an overall soundscape, that gives an overall medieval feel to it.

Some parts are a wee bit drawn out, the last song imo does become tedious on parts, which results in it loosing some of it's important atmospheres, aswel as other parts throughout the album. But on the upside there are some wonderful folk inspired melodies, in particular on the song "The Oaks Of England", which I really like.

So it turns out that my Youtube Music app reset it's streaming quality settings by itself to normal quality instead of high. The first time I listened to it it sounded like crap. Now It's much better. I was wondering why all my music sounded so bad lol. Bumped from 7 to 9. \m/
