Never heard this band before, but I'm quite impressed, it's nothing extraordinary, but it has an incredibly raw and aggressive sound, with a dark sinister atmosphere to it. The shrieking vocals sound pure evil, and I especially like the female vocals on the 3rd track, and also the drumming sound is fantastic.

I admit it can get tedious in parts, and there's nothing really stand out about the riffing either, nor is the album itself particularly memorable to me, but it's still a fairly solid release. "Das Dunkel der Welt", and "Strepitus Mundi" are the tracks that stand out most for me.

I found those shrieking vocals quite annoying actually but I agree about the drum sound. They're really booming and cavernous sounding.

The drumming is definitely one of the highlights on this album, I might check out some of their previous stuff, if ever I get round to it.
