Oceansize did a lot of quality work, but I don't think they were ever better than right here when it comes to creating a mood, an atmosphere, a true work of art on top of great music. Effloresce is intelligent and evocative at the same time; complex yet accessible. One of the great achievements in alt rock/alt metal history - It's a shame they never really got a lot of exposure.
