"Pretty good" -> gives it a solid 10? Fanboy-ish score manipulation much?

I'm a kinda session drummer for a band and their singer thinks this is the best band that has ever been and a guitarist also agreed that it is "one of those good bands". So, I give their new record a spin.

... aaaand ooh man, it's worse than I was able to imagine. I left the last 2 songs untouched since I was not able to take it anymore. It makes me sad that bands like these are on the rise.

EDIT: I had to listen for the last two songs so I could add this to my new list "Worst albums I have listened from beginning to end".

Seriously ? The album was 'Pretty good' the day I got it, now it's much better.

This isn't a 10, 8.5 would be generous but it is a pretty solid album, it isn't for everyone though and fanboys need to grasp that, granted I think it's fucking awesome but that's just because it falls into one of my favourite little genres of metal
