Decent art but where's the melodic black metal? Diluted post-black/ metalcore once again using vocals and strumming to cover over musicianship.

This album is almost every bit as good as A Journey Told Through Fire, even if a wee bit less consistent. If you liked that album then I highly recommend you check this one out ASAP! As usual the guitar work is exceptional, and it has a great sound quality/production with a real epic cosmic vibe. The weakest point for me though is the vocals, but even they're far from anything bad. This has to be one of the most underrated meloblack bands out there!

"The Dreadful", "Dark Stars and Eternity", and "In the Presence of Stars" are the highlights for me, they're all top quality tracks

If Meloblack were a book, this album could be the first chapter. Classic meloblack riffs throughout the album. Instant favourite.
