Horizon's End have possibly produced their grand achievement, three decades into their existence. And it’s not that their previous output hasn’t been some first-rate progressive metal music.

Guitar work is excellent. Drumming is almost nonexistent and synth reminds me a lot of old Rhapsody but not in a good way. The biggest problem for me though are the vocals, mostly because of the singer's terrible accent.

I love the vocals, the keyboards (Sakis Bandis from Hail Spirit Noir), and the guitar work. I have only listened to this once, but I will play it a lot in the future. "The Trail Of Notes" and "Postcards From War" were immediate standout tracks for me.

Gotta love bands with obvious Queen influence in their music.

Okie doke, time to be critical
Musically it's outstanding and utterly mind-blowing. Tracks 1-3 are masterpieces. Especially "Damage" which is perfect in my eyes. It stays enjoyable throughout the entire runtime, but tracks 7-9 get a little bit draggy. "They Will Rise Again" has an excellent neo-classical interlude, "Another War" has a great moment of pizzicato strings, and "The Trail Of Notes" is very mystical and imaginative. Vocalist sounds a little like Fabio Lione, but musically its closest to Anthriel to me, albeit a bit more upbeat.
