Helloween is one of the well knowed bands from old German Power/Speed Metal scene. And Ingo Schwichtenberg is was one of the founding members and definetely their best and most famous drummer. Metalheads know him as one of the killer Helloween crew from their old days, along with Kai Hansen, Ralf Shiepers... Ingo had been one of the initial members these once so great and influential volume.
He was famous for his high-energy drumming and ear-to-ear smile. His driving rhythm and proficiency on the drums has been imitated by many power metal bands throughout the 1990s to present.
When at the beginning of the 90's success was missing with Helloween, Ingo got caught in the drug sump, suffered to alcohol and mental problems. Thus it became 1993, after whom the releases of Chamaeleon, from the volumes dismiss, in hope, Ingo these problems for itself would solve. When consequence of the schizophrenia from which it suffered, it refused however taking its medicines and so it went with its condition constantly downhill.
Whether the fast was responsible for its illness and the associated tragedy on and with Helloween also off, is today unsettled until. It stands firmly however that Ingo was a large enriching for the Metal, and some the largest Metalalben eingetrommelt.
Ingo Schwichtenberg threw itself to 8.3.1995 in Hamburg before a course and committed suicide. Its death and its way are to its friends, relatives and its fans still into the bone. There is probably hardly somewhat worse, as if humans see only death as only way out.
His death was big shock for his family, his friends and all metalheads all over the world. His spirit and his tribute to heavy metal won't be forgoten, his story will always be in our hearts
