I also think the people whining about some of the racial and gender changes on the characters are missing one of the main motifs from the book. Weren't the Endless indeed supposed to look different to each person perceiving them?
It's pretty good, I see a lot of people complaining about it online and they definitely did make some changes, but to me they were pretty minor and dismissible overall
