Korpsesoturi - old school death metal band was formed originally 2014 by Juha Ahlfors. Main focuse was to create raw energy, dark lyrics in finnish language and sound which respects the traditional old school death metal. Some flavors from the years spent with different types of metal can also be heard.

Korpsesoturi recorded for the first time 2016 but these songs were never actually published anywhere.
Official self titled 'Korpsesoturi' EP was recorded in Spring 2017. In the first place it was released only via internet digital music provider sites. Caco-Daemon Records released this EP in C-Cassette form in July 2017 (also Japan splatter edition 2019).
Death In Pieces Records from Mexico released the official EP with demo songs from 2016 in Autumn 2017 in CD format. Feedback was very promising. First full lenght album was recorded and mixed during the Spring and Summer 2018 with outstanding session musicians. This album - called 'Malus Corpus' - was released by Rotted Life record label (USA) in November 16th, 2018.

Korpsesoturi signed a record deal in Autumn 2019 for two albums with Xtreem Records (Spain).
Next album will be released in May 2020.

Since the very beginning there has been many musicians coming and going. Uncompromising path of old school death metal is what Korpsesoturi sounds and feels - no solos, no melodic parts more than needed, no clean vocals - just pure expression of metal crushing your balls and backbone!

During 2019 mucisians in Korpsesoturi has been evolved ones again and now there's full time members involved - these guys share the hunger for energy and aggressive riffs that Korpsesoturi is all about.
