Scum Scunge is a band formed in 2001 by Stuart Taylor after Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott gave me a guitar for christmas. This changed my whole life. After going thru drummers and singers and bass players i finally got the right members, Donovan Cleveland(vox) Chad Hammonds(bass) Brent Bonner(drums) and me (guitars). we made the album "Five Bucks aint Shit" in 2003. Darrell (Dimebag) Abbott played lead guitar on 3 songs on this record. The band played thru 2008 with different drummers and bass players until Stuart decided to call it quits for various reasons. Fast forward to 2013 and the chance meeting of johnny O(vox) in a parking lot Stuart and Johnny decided to restart the band. They enlisted the drumming skills of Christian "Rock" Meyer and they where off to the races. After learning all the songs the band then recorded the self titled new Scum Scunge record. There where some problems so we enlisted the help of some very talented singers to finish the record, George Call(Aska), Rown Houland(Infernoise), Varnam Ponville(Gammacide) Phillip Weber(Neffarious) and J. Costa(Thy will be done), and then topped it off with some of metal's finest lead guitar players Scott Shelby(Warbeast), Dorian Rainwater(Noisear), Jonas Kjellgren(Scar Symmetry), Chris Drapeau(Thy will be done), Todd Evans(Mobile Death Camp), Jim Crye(Volume Dealer) and Justin Neil Manning(Crowned by fire). We also had help on the bass from Henry Diaz(Project Rogue) and Randy "Gribb" Cook(Rotting Corpse). The new record is finished and out now and has 14 tracks of killer songs with lots of talent added to it.
