Zealot Cult was formed in early 2008 after the demise of both The Swarm and Victim X with the sole purpose of playing Death Metal, ugly, filthy, twisted, good old-fashioned proper Death Metal.

Influences include Death, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Entombed, Suffocation, Immolation...... all the greats. Since it's inception, Zealot Cult has performed alongside acts including Desecration, Amputated, Overoth, Warpath, Putrefy, Bloodshot Dawn, Coldwar, Threehour Ceasefire, Brigantia, Nephridium,Atheos and have upcoming shows with Prostitute Disfigurement and Decapitated.
