Biography
Formed at the beginning summer holidays of 2005 in a small town Krosno in Poland. At the beginning consisted of three members - Mateusz Pojnar (Raven) on bass and guitarists: Michał Napora (Estel) and Michał Kustra (Dargor).
Though the beginnings were tough, considering lack of equipment and rehersal place, band was not discouraged and still worked hard - at that time, mostly on covers. It was also that time, when the musical style (speed melodic metal) of the Arondight (name taken from the name of Lancelot's sword) was also decided then.
Next year, drummer Jonasz Kubaszczyk and soon after vocalist Jaromir Przewoźnik joined the band making its memberlist complete. After some more practise on their old songs and writing some new material, Arondight emerged from the underground to the public and began to play on various local concerts and events, gaining popularity and fans.
Another year passed, and it was the 2007 when their first demo "Incoming Siege" was released. Recorded in a professional studio it was a 25 minute long CD with Arondight's own music, which was available in few shops in Krosno and via the band's official website. It can still be downloaded through their page.
All that time, Arondight is giving shows almost constantly, what is giving them a chance to improve their skills, they travel to bigger cities and even to Warsaw, to play at a charity concert in one of the Warsaw's high schools.
In fall of 2008, Jonasz Kubaszczyk leaves the band and is soon replaced, by new drummer - Marcin Zdeb (zDEBU).
Soon after, on December 5th band's first full length album "Myths and Legends" is released. Featuring full colour printing and 8 (eight!) new compositions plus two re-recorded tracks known from the "Incoming Siege" demo - "Camelot" and "Captain Jackman". Album received very good reviews in Polish metal press, with an average grade of 9 points out of 10.
