Biography
Formed by Duncan Patterson who penned the Anathema title of the same name. Alternative 4 signed to Avantgarde Music in 2011 with the debut album The Brink released in late 2011. Mark Kelson (The Eternal) and Argentinian drummer/percussionist Mauro Frison completed the line-up for that recording.
In 2012 the band signed a long term deal with German label Prophecy Productions. Vocalist/guitarist Simon Flatley joined the band in late 2012 during the recording sessions for the second album The Obscurants.
