2023 is easily my favorite year from the current decade but 2021 isn’t far behind. I think your favorite year/decade will really depend on the genres you like most though.

2016 will forever be my goat.

He kinda has a point, at least in general consensus - if you check the top 20s, only from this decade onwards we finished some years with records below the 8s there, and even the tops average score must have lowered.

yeah 2024 definitely was better. There were some good albums during the covid era. Haven't seen lean years like that since 1992-94 for metal (again still good albums in there, but not many compared to other eras)

Sharks-Bulldogs game. A player got sent to the sin bin (sent off for 10 minutes) after the full time siren had gone. Why bother binning someone then? The principle of it?

A rough start for the decade ?? 2021 was my favourite since I joined MS in 2015.
