The Finnish veterans Waltari have recently put out a brand new single/video, "Major Mistake". The latter will appear on the groups next full-length instalment, Nations' Neurosis, which is ready to hit the streets on May 16th 2025. Waltari are present at the Finnish rock/metal scene since 1986, and their first release was a self-titled EP back in 1988. However, they consider Monk-Punk as an album that defines their style, so that's why their newly announced anniversary album is entitled 3rd Decade - Anniversary Edition. It consists of re-recorded songs from their previously released albums (as well as remixes & new track), featuring several guest musicans with whom they collaborated for this special release.

It's not very common amongst bands to survive that long. 30 years ago Finnish metal band Waltari has been formed. More - they're active since that day. That's why they're gonna play a special anniversary live show on October 21st, in Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki. Also, past members of Waltari will be present on this gig, same with some guests and band friends - Dregen from Backyard Babies, Angelit, opera singer Johanna Rusanen-Kartano, Marko Annala from Mokoma, Bazie from The 69 Eyes, Jonne Järvelä from Korpiklaani and Antti Hyyrynen (Stam1na).

Waltari's drummer, Ville Vehviläinen, will be forced to stay at home during the band's next European tour due to his recovery from a knee surgery. Atte Palokangas of Before The Dawn and Agonizer fame will be drumming in his place in the Finnish band. On this European tour, Waltari will perform in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Slovakia.

A rockumentary-styled video for the song 'Wish I Could Heal' is now available at Waltari's official MySpace page. An audio sample of the song is also available.

"Release Date" is described as "darker than its predecessor (Blood Sample) but also again crazier in the mix of possible styles and the general frenzy of these Finnish music innovators."

Waltari features Kreator guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö, who has been a band member since 1989.
