"Duct Tape Smile", the new video from US metallers Psyopus, has been made available online at Ultimate-Guitar.com. The clip was shot in Copenhagen, Denmark by Michael Panduro and David Lund for Siegfried Productions.
Chris Arp comments: "Super psyched to finally be getting this video out for the public to see. It's been a long time coming. This is my second favorite song off of our latest album. With this, I am happy that there is this video to compliment the imagination of the song."
"Duct Tape Smile" comes off the band's latest album, entitled "Odd Senses", which was released on February 2009 via Metal Blade Records.

Psyopus is proud to announce the release date for their third album "Odd Senses". The album is to be released Feb 17th 2009. The album will list 10 tracks all lending themselves to the Psyopus tech, mathy and experimental formula:

Psyopus have yet again (yes indeed, this is the second time they're announcing a new vocalist this year) found a new singer in Brian Woodruff. A statement from the band reads as follows:
"Psyopus is long overdue and happy to announce new vocalist Brian Woodruff into the band. If you've seen Psyopus at all since the beginning of our "Grinding Into Cataclysm" tour that began in August, you may have noticed the new face on the stage. Well, here is the explanation. After Harrison Christie's announced replacement, Matt Duckbirth, flaked out shortly after our press release of his joining the band, we replaced him with Brian. Brian was known as the vocalist from the Binghamton/Rochester, NY band As This Body, I Exist. We worked with him intensely, brought him into the studio and recorded the new album. This album was recorded with Brian. VERY shortly there after we jumped in the van and headed out for tour with War From A Harlots Mouth, Fuck The Facts and Left To Vanish.
Again, after the premature press release that Matt was joining our band, we wanted to make sure that Brian was indeed the kat for the band before we made it "official". We are now here to say that he is indeed the kat for the job. Be prepared for a notch up in the vocal brutality of Psyopus."

Psyopus is happy to announce the enlisting of new vocalist and Rochester, NY native Matt Dalberth. Matt is replacing vocalist Harrison Christie. The band comments:
"The addition of Matt to the band makes the majority of the band from Western, NY which provides cohesiveness and new stability to the line up. Matt's talents can be witnessed by his performances with the Rochester, NY band Burn Everything. Psyopus welcomes him and his high energy stage presence to the band. Psyopus wishes Harrison Christie the best of luck with his future endeavors and would like to thank him for the time shared with Psyopus."
The band is currently writing and rehearsing for their next album yet to be titled. The album will be recorded July 20th through August 16th with engineer Doug White at Watchmen Studios in Lockport, NY.

New York tech death metallers/grinders Psyopus have posted a song about siamese twins simply titled "2" on their MySpace page. The song comes off the band's latest effort "Our Puzzling Encounters Considered" which has been released last year in February.
