While French black metallers Anorexia Nervosa have been on hiatus for a few years now, guitarist Stefan Bayle has been involved in a new band, Au Champ Des Morts since 2014. Their label Debemur Morti Productions will release their debut EP Le Jour Se Lève on June 24th, 2016. They propose you get a taste of their singular approach of extreme metal with "Le Jour Se Lève", a first song from their upcoming 7" EP bearing the same title at this location. Are you impressed?

In a message (in French) posted at the band website, Anorexia Nervosa guitarist Stefan Bayle has announced that he has put the band in "stand-by" mode, fearing the group become "some sort of parody" of itself.
The decision comes following a failed search to secure a new vocalist for the band, following former singer Hreidmarr's departure from the group.
Although unable to predict when the band may resurface, Stefan hesitates to call this a split.

Hreidmarr quits Anorexia Nervosa, here is the translation of his statement :
To make it simple: I have decided to part ways with the band.
Leaving Anorexia Nervosa was definitely not the easiest thing to do as we've shared so much during our time together as this band had become a vivid part of my daily life. For seven years, the band has been giving me so many opportunities on a musical and human level and has heavily contributed to become the person I'm today.
Still, I honestly thought I had reached the end of a personal era with the album 'Redemption Process' and I now feel the need to take a different path. I'm also absolutely proud of what I have been able to achieve with the rest of the band members who will always remain my best friends and I wish them the very best for the future.
ANOREXIA NERVOSA is already looking for a new singer and the ones who are interested and motivated can send a demo to =]

It's now official, after four years of collaboration and three outstanding recordings, Anorexia Nervosa has now left its label Osmose Productions.
The band is proud to announce that it has signed with Listenable Records for Europe, SoundHolic Records for Japan, and that a licence deal is currently being negociated with several important labels in the USA.
After a year spent on working on new songs, Anorexia Nervosa has finally hit the Drudenhaus Studios to record their long-awaited fourth album, as yet untitled.
Here are some exclusive track names :
- Antinferno
- Sister September
- Codex - Veritas
Here are also some few words that our beloved webmaster has succeeded in taking out from the band : "The orchestrations are the most powerful ones that we ever did. The album will feature choirs, horns, heavy riffs, trance-like moments. [...] It will stay 100% Anorexia Nervosa, but with a new atmosphere, something very solemn, warlike, and at the same time completely histerical. This is probably the single most ambitious thing that we ever took part in."
The album will be mastered by Björn Engelmann from Sweden (Rammstein, Hypocrisy, In Flames) at the Cutting Room, and should be out somewhere around october 2004. The band will hit the road at the same time, be ready!!!
As for the longest-awaited "Suicide Is Sexy" hand-signed collector, it has FINALLY gone to press, and now nothing could prevent it from being released by the end of May!
