Death/thrash metal veterans Sadus vocalist and guitarist Darren Travis has confirmed that co-founding drummer Jon Allen is fired from the band, following disturbing videos surfaced online that show him physically abusing his partner Brandy Mae Collins. Allen, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the abuse, was the drummer for Sadus from 1985 to their hiatus in 2015 and again from 2017 to his departure.

Bay Area extreme metallers Sadus have announced that the release of their long-awaited sixth studio album has been cancelled, and added that the band is over after nearly four decades together. The new album, which Sadus had been working on since 2017, would have been their first full-length since 2006's Out For Blood.

It's been 11 years since Sadus released their last album Out For Blood, but they are reportedly now tracking down their next record. While there are no other details available, guitarist/vocalist Darren Travis recently posted some videos on his YouTube account, confirming that the band has been writing songs and riffs for the new record. There is no word whether bassist Steve DiGiorgio (now in Testament) and drummer Jon Allen are involved.

Sadus announced that their new album "Out For Blood" is going to be release in February 2006 via Mascot Records. The album will contain "an all exclusive bonus disc filled up with "a making of" video, several renditions of some legendary songs from the band's inspirators and some more stuff to come too". The album which was recorded at Trident Studios in California "is currently undergoing postproduction in the Netherlands."

The Artwork of the album was made by Travis Smith and Chuck Billy. An official homepage for the band to be hosted at www.sadus.us is expected to be launched soon.
