The atmospheric black metallers will be specifically hitting several major cities they missed on the "Autumn Crucible" tour last October and it will conclude with an appearance at this year's Northwest Terror Fest. Oregon sons, Pillorian, will travel to the old continent to perform at two festivals. The band will perform Barther Metal Open Air in Barth, Germany, between 16-19 August, and also in another legendary festival, at Summer Breeze Open Air 2018.

The band has been confirmed to perform at the In Flammen open air festival, which is happening from 12.- 14.07.2018 in Torgau / Entenfang. The group featuring members of Agalloch and Uada released their debut album, Obsidian Arc, this year.

After what seemed like a long wait, Pillorian have finally released their first new song, "A Stygian Pyre." After the split of Agalloch last May, we are finally able to hear what front man John Haughm has been up to. The 5-minute song has some familiar Agalloch sounds but is most definitely a different beast altogether.

Following the demise of Agalloch, mastermind John Haughm announced a few months later the formation of a new band called Pillorian with Stephen Parker (Maestus/ex-Arkhum) and Trevor Matthews (Uada/ex-Infernus). At the time, not much was revealed other than an impending debut album. Well, now the label has announced that their debut album is to be titled Obsidian Arc and is set for release on March 10th 2017 via Eisenwald. Check out the cover, tracklist and more right here.
