Summoning - Continue Working On New Album

A chat between the member of the band and some fans was posted on the Summoning official forum. In there the band talked about the current status of the upcoming album as well as other topics.

All the recordings have been made except the vocals which were already started by Silenius few days ago. After finishing the recordings the band will have some more work to do, as adding some speech samples as well as the master, coverlayout, etc.. The record will also content some orkish lenguage words.

There is not a precise date for the release of the upcoming album, but it will be hopefully finished before 2007. The tracklist is not avaibable yet, but they (Summoning members) revealed that the album will have 9 tracks (including the intro). About the Box Set they will take care about it after finishing the album.

Also Silenius (Michael Gregor) talked about a posible Abigor reunion: "Principally I would not have anything against a reunion with the original line up but to be honest I don't think that TT and PK can continue with the old times and therefore it would be just a another senseless reunion".

Ah! summoning is going to give a good album again!

Err...
News posted on 22.10.2005. So this news was about the album "Oath Bound", released on 31 March 2006...

So sorry to burst your bubble, but no, Summoning are not busy recording a new good album.

Though, according to Wikipedia: "A mini CD is expected to be released in 2007 containing at least one song which didn't make it onto Oath Bound due to size issues. However, Protector prefers a new full-cd, but that depends on Silenius' inspiration, for it is his duty to start a new song."
