Mercenary - New Song Online

After revealing the details of their new album, Mercenary today premiere the first song and title track of the album, "Through Our Darkest Days" as a taste of what's to come. Stream the song below and judge it for yourself. The album will be out in Europe on July 26th via NoiseArt Records and a week later in the US through Prosthetic Records.

The band stated: "We are proud to let you all hear the title track of our new album, 'Through Our Darkest Days'. We put a lot of effort, heart and soul into this beast and can't wait to unleash it on the world! For us, the song is very iconic and it embodies the melancholic and grand sound that has always been a trademark for Mercenary.

Furthermore, we have a contest for those of you who will come out to see us live at the awesome Beastival (30.05. - 01.06.) next week! 5 fans will get the chance of attending an exclusive press listening event and will be able to hear the whole album as some of the first people in the world! To enter the contest, simply share the post with new song from Mercenary's profile and in addition make a post on your own Facebook-wall where you 1) explain why you should be among the 5 fans to attend and 2) tag the Mercenary-Facebook-profile in this post. The 5 most interesting / unique / funny entries will be handpicked by the band. Winners will be notified directly. (Please note that winning does not include a ticket for the festival itself)."

Strong performance to say the least; don't think I've ever heard their vocals so well pronounced. Should be a good listen.
