How high was everyone when this was approved? It's not exactly setting high expectations for the album when the artwork looks like the kind of thing you'd expect to see for a high school art project! And probably would have been done at the last minute by a lazy student, too!
The music better be really good to justify artwork like this.

Let's all remember that Rocket Ride had a similarly bad cover and was a pretty good album. None of Edguy's albums really have GREAT artwork. It's not something they are known for. I trust Toby to write quality songs. I think he's one of the top handful of composers in the genre.

My thoughts exactly. Edguy is a band of goofballs, they don't take things a seriously as the rest of you macho metal heads. It's a fun, comic book style album cover in my opinion.
