Great musicians but with the WORST choices for their outfit (but whatever, that is a trend in Japan, I guess )

Some of them mask their inability to play their instruments well, or their incapacity of composing decent songs with these sort of theatrics and costumes. Some of them manage to breach into mainstream, others don't. What we need to understand is that Visual Kei bands, same like American glam bands or british punk bands have both brilliant outfits and mediocre ones. I agree though with the words of Blackie Lawless from WASP's fame: it is not the theatrics that make the music, it is the music that makes the theatrics.
