Blackmore's Night - Release New Video, Tap Singer For Rock Shows

Here is another new track from the upcoming Blackmore's Night 10th studio album, All Our Yesterdays. You can now check out "Will O' The Wisp" by hitting the play button on the YouTube video below. The new album will be released very soon on September 18th in CD, CD/DVD deluxe edition, 2xLP, deluxe box set and digital versions. The song is inspired by animated feature Brave.





Furthermore, Blackmore is gearing up to take the band to Europe next June. He told Billboard: "I'm now 70, so I just felt like playing some rock 'n' roll for a few days. We're going to do four or five dates of just playing the old rock stuff, Purple stuff and Rainbow. I'm doing it for the fans, for nostalgia, and the singer I found is very exciting; he's a cross between Dio meets Freddie Mercury. So this will mean exposing a new singer to the masses, and I'm sure he'll become pretty famous because of his voice."

He plans to film and record the performances for future release and the other musicians have yet to be revealed.

Man, he seems so bored playing Blackmore Night's stuff. Now that he's 70 he wants to play rock n roll. You'd think he will choose different order when choosing his career path...
