Yeah, and I swear there was something else fairly recently that did the same. I think it was one of the Boris albums or collabs.

Also, Neurosis did that with Times Of Grace

Oh man ... Was planning on doing something like this for my band (started writing actually), I know it's been done before and is by no means something new or original, but hell if we do it now it will seem like we're riding a trend. Shit!
Anyway, I'm really excited for this. Loved everything this band did.

Are you kidding me? I wish more bands do that...

As i can hear this project is more ambitious than Neurosis/Rosetta. Their second discs were only noise/ambient, and here the 2 songs seems to be both doom...
