German power metal masters Evertale, that started their epic journey under the Blackened name, just announced that they are working on a new album called The Great Brotherwar, which is due out later this year. They also announced new tour dates. Together with Elvenking, Finsterforst and Firtan, they will kick off the "Your Heroes Are Dead" European tour.

The band said: "2016 has been a difficult year for metalheads with many losses. 'Your Heroes Are Dead' is therefore now truer than ever and is hence the motto for the 2017 European Tour. The bands promise to make each night an unforgettable one!"

These will also be the first shows with their new drummer Wombo.

They added: "We are really looking forward to the tour together with our friends of Elvenking, Finsterforst and Firtan. We also have to tell you that Tyronne Silva is no longer part of the line up of Evertale and can introduce our new drummer Wombo (Cornelius Heck of Finsterforst), he completes our line-up from now on. And - the long wait has come to an end - we are happy to announce our new album, entitled The Great Brotherwar. This will be released in the second half of 2017."

Clara Freibeuterin and her violin will be featured on the new song called "For the King and the Crown" (working title).
