Production sounds a bit too clean. It will be hard to top Vexovoid at any rate, that is unless this is an masterpiece.

I don't like how the vocals are the most prominent aspect of the music .
At any rate, it does not have the asphyxiating vibe of their previous work .

I liked this. Sounds totally like Portal to me.

Gotta agree with mz. this track is weak.

The end drags too much, but apart from that it's the best I heard from these guys and I like this production. Never been fan of the other where they would bury everything under one noisy sound

Disappointing to be honest... Really liked how they were one of the few band that utilized their 8-strings creatively and sparingly. I just don't hear that here. Could be the production tho...

It"s nice that it isn"t overly bassy, but as the others have pointed out far too clear, makes it sound more conventional than their other stuff

I actually still haven't heard the new track.

Good production. They need to change this to hipster tech death. Hey look how different I am by listening to something with odd time signatures/tunings. When you have to think about why you like it more than you actually enjoy listening to the song you fall into the portal fan camp.

Have been coming back to this more times over the past few days. Not too crazy about the guitar tone either honestly, but at the same time, love the focus on the vocals here and how they're clearer than potentially ever before. I don't think that's a bad thing, The Curator's approach is really ferocious and it's good to hear those spooky Lovecraftian howls a bit better. I'd say if they take that new vocal audibility and combine it with the thicker, suffocating guitar tone of before, this one is gonna be a real beast.

EDIT: Actually, just listened to the teaser they shared earlier, and even though it's just a teaser, there the guitars are a lot more gritty and smothering, as per usual. So calm down, salties, this track here probably isn't what the whole thing is gonna end up sounding like.
