It seems like English black metal ash bringers Fen are working on new songs and have been doing some jamming and writing sessions. The band released their latest album, Winter, last year in March and shared some videos and photos from the studio. They are demoing some new ideas.

Does it pay to go backward in their discography if I started with and only have Winter. I do really enjoy it.

The Malediction Fields was regarded as their best before Winter. It's a great album, just listen to that. J.O.O.E. a.k.a Mercurial wrote a review even though I think he overhyped the album :p
