Yesterday was the official release day of Venom Prison's compilation album Primeval. Coinciding with this release, the five-piece premiere a music video for the track "Slayer Of Holofernes", directed by Thomas-Coe Brooker.

The band comment: "We are proud to share Primeval with the world, the end of an era and the start of a new chapter for the band's life. The essence of this release was to look back on our earlier days, reflecting where it all started and giving new life to what these songs deserved from the start. Primeval consists of demo Defy The Tyrant (2015) & EP The Primal Chaos (2015), with two additional brand new songs which hint where the bands future may lay."
