After Forever guitarist Sander Gommans has a side-project called HDK, which he describes as "a lot more agressive and guitar orientated than After Forever. However, because I write all the stuff, you'll certainly find some After Forever elements in these songs." He has issued the following update:

"The first new singer that will give his contribution to the HDK project, will be Mike Scheijen of the band 37 Stabwoundz ([url]www.myspace.com/mike_37, www.37stabwoundz.com[/url])

This guy has a kick ass voice (extremely versatile, sometimes his voice even resembles Phil Anselmo) for the real agressive stuff, check out the websites!!! It could take a while, but I'll put some vocal parts online as soon as we've recorded something."
