Atmospheric black metallers Marrasmieli celebrated Finland's Independence Day yesterday and also announced the addition of two new members in their ranks. Inequity drummer Valtteri Viro will take pseudonym 'Dødkveld' and play accordion and synths, while Nightstryke lead vocalist and guitarist Rami Hermunen will play guitars under the 'Hordak' nickname.

The band said: ''Happy Independence Day for our fellow Finns! In other news, we're excited to welcome Dødkveld (drums in Inequity) and Hordak (guitar and lead vocals in Nightstryke) to our ranks! You're already familiar with Dødkveld since he played the accordion on the song 'Aallot'. He will continue playing accordion and he will also be playing synthesizer. Hordak is our second guitarist. The photo is taken in a rehearsal place for reasons one can only wonder...''
