Mötley Crüe - U.S. Tour With Def Leppard, Poison Moved To 2022

Mötley Crüe recently announced that the highly-anticipated 'The Stadium Tour' with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett And The Blackhearts has been postponed to a year from next month. This tour was supposed to take place in the summer of last year, but was pushed back to this year because of the ongoing COVID pandemic.

Mötley Crüe issued the following statement last Friday (May 14th) via Facebook: "To all our loyal fans, we wanted to let you know that we learned today that the tour is getting moved to 2022. This is the only way to ensure that we can play ALL of the dates for ALL of you who have purchased tickets. We appreciate you hanging in there and can't wait to get back on stage and bring The Stadium Tour to all of our fans. It is going to be one for the history books!"

And Vince can no longer sing... these guys have more money then one can spend in 2 lifetime's and they still get revenue even if they retire completely. So I don't think money is the only factor. Maybe some corporate pressure as well.

The YouTube videos of Vince Neil huffing and puffing through recent sets, forgetting most of the words are hilarious.

They are pitiful I would say. Some people can never age gracefully and know when to call it quits. In Vince's case, it ain't just about not being able to sing certain stuff, like is the case with Ian Gillan, who has aged and can't sing the early stuff anymore. He can't sing anything. He is clearly overweight, thus making his breathing irregular and the guy never bothered getting some proper vocal lessons. When he was young, his youthful energy allowed him to carry on a decent vocal performance. But now when he is old, that can't go on anymore.

The problem here is the fanbase. Motley Crue, same like other established bands have a core fanbase that is as fanatical as suicide bombers. These people are willing to ignore everything just to go and see them live, despite the fact that I question whether the band is actually still playing live music. Mick has been skipping notes since forever. Nikki and Tommy somehow can still pull it off but these guys took themselves seriously as musicians/performers and remained in decent shape. Vince needs an army of backing singers to deliver a mere semblance of an acceptable performance. He might as well just lip synch and let the girls do the singing, even that would be better.

Bad English
Tage Westerlund
According to Pollstar, "The Stadium Tour", which features support from POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS, moved 98.5% of the available tickets from concerts at 17 venues in North American cities to average 36,763 sold seats per show. The bands also earned a $4.88 million gross average

some funny facts if each band earn so much money, its huge for today metal bussness , I doubt many bands can manage 1 million from sold tickets
