Official statement from the band: "Laurent decided to not get vaccinated, according to his personal beliefs. Even if we disagree with him, we respect his decision of course, however this has some consequences, regarding his ability to travel with us mainly, so, to be part of the line-up for the future. To say it shortly, Laurent is not a part of the project anymore.
"In the meantime, Laure informed us, after this weird "off" period in our artistic journey that she wanted more time to focus on her private life and didn't show up at the rehearsals. As well, we fully support her. We are of course sad to see a page of Igorrr to be over, and we wish them the best for the future, but this led us to the awesome news : we are welcoming 3 new incredible people in the band: first, the greek soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou and JB Le Bail as our new vocalists, and finally Martyn Clement as our guitar player. It is, as challenging as exciting for us, to present to our audience this new live performance, where we'll play many songs from our last album Spirituality And Distortion, plus, of course, some good ol' Igorrr's tunes. Can't wait to see you, and thanks for your support all those years."

Damn. Genuinely shocked to hear this. I love Laure as a vocalist. Will be very interesting to see where Igorrr's music goes after this. I guess this also rules out another Corpo-Mente album, which I've really been holding out for

It's sad to hear that Laure Le Prunenec is no longer in the band, she was a huge part of their sound and character. Hope Igorrr would continue to put out quality music with these new people.

Laurent refused to vaccine so he won't cross borders easily - it's the main reason according to Igorrr. According to Laurent - he won't vaccine because moderna vaccine uses luciferine and it's a way to sell your soul to devil.

After the rather stale album we got last year, maybe it's not so bad to have some fresh blood in the project, that might be the creative input needed to make something new and interesting

These are no small changes for a band to undergo, though I doubt they'll have much involvement in the creative process.

I was worried that a new vocalist might not be able to emulate that. But from that video, It seems that Aphrodite has a very interesting vocal style as well. Laurent's vocals were also fairly unique. The screams were a very distinct chaos and his baritone clean (ish) singing was really cool. Will be very interesting to hear a new vocalist for these sections.

Yes, what a shame ... Great voice! But Laurent is more a solo song writer. Ever makes his own thing. Look at Frank Zappa, Bathory's Quorton or Chuck Schuldiner ... It is well known that such people influenced genres ... I'm still looking forward to a new Igorrr album :-)

JB Le Bail is the singer of Svart Crown. He's not exactly renowned for his clean singing, wonder how he'll fit here.
