Oceans Of Slumber - 'Starlight And Ash' Album Out In July

Oceans Of Slumber are back with a new full length announcement. Texas-based sextet will put out their fifth long player, Starlight And Ash, on July 22nd 2022 via Century Media. It was produced by Joel Hamilton and mastered by Maor Appelbaum. Eliran Kantor handled the cover artwork creation. Check out a visualizer for the first streaming single, "Hearts Of Stone".

Cammie Beverly (vocals) says about the song: "Lost and alone from birth, a product of the institution of life on the streets. Trouble follows this person around like a badge of honor. Grief finding grievances, the perfect formula of despair."

Beautiful cover art, but I'm not liking the sound they're using in the singles, it sounds like they're losing a lot of the heaviness from the last album.

Seems to mark a change in direction. wouldnt mind if they skipped the growling (not that good from this band tbh) but heaviness should remain

Their last album is probably one of my favourite is the recent years. Highly anticipating this one.
