Sabaton - Extend Swedish Tour, Announce Movie


Swedish war metal ''tank crew'' Sabaton decided to upgrade their sold out Swedish tour with 20 new cities, you can see the new dates below. Also, in 2023 the band will unleash the The War To End All Wars movie, an animated and live action motion picture, featuring songs from the album of the same title, created in collaboration with Yarnhub.

The band comments about the tour: ''After 30 completely SOLD OUT shows in Sweden in 2022, we have decided to EXTEND the Great Sweden Tour with an additional 20 shows in 20 more Swedish cities in 2023! We’ll be starting in Övertorneå in the North and will go all the way to the south of the country. Supporting us every night of the tour will be our brother in arms, Hulkoff.''

Any Swedish person here who could tell us how often a metal band manages sell out so many venues in the same tour in Sweden ? That seems crazy! Never seen that many dates for a tour in France nor Germany.

I don't think this has ever happened before, that a band manages to sell out this many shows here in Sweden.

Anyway. I'm happy for Sabaton, it's amazing that they actually can pull this off. They are one of the most hard-working bands in the industry, so they definitely deserve this!

Övertorneå is ca 350km South as a Kiruna, and probably first band plays there. Those nazies in the movie looks like nazie Storm elite in the Moh airborne game.
