Dimæon - Former Keyboardist Passed Away
According to Dimæon's Facebook page, Dutch keyboardist Janneke Smids has passed away. The band's statement about the loss can be seen below.
The band comments: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former keyboardist Janneke Smids. Janneke was part of [band]Dimæon[/band from 2003 to 2009 and played on the releases Echoes In A Dying World[i], [i]I, Mortal and Exit Reality. After her departure we've often shared the stage with her bands Sincerus and Insidiae and Janneke joined us on stage for "The Seventh Sphere" during our 10-year anniversary. We will cherish these moments and remember her humour, kindness and passion for music. Our thoughts go out to her family and friends. Rembert, Philippus, Danny, Nikky"
