Botanist - Announce Eighth Studio Album
US experimental black metal act Botanist proudly announce the release of their eighth full length effort, VIII: Selenotrope. Due on May 19th via Prophecy Productions, it consists of 8 new songs. For a preview of the new outing, give a spin to the "Angel's Trumpet" track.

You're telling me it took this long for Botanist to come up with a song called "Angels Trumpet"??? That's like prime material there, crazy he went through so many albums without this. Song is nice and soothing. Kinda crazy comparing where Botanist is now to where he started out cause the first were really unnerving to me

Wow that new song is terrible. The off-key vocals and absolutely dull shoegaze sound really mixes well with the quiet as a mouse blastbeats. Not.
