The Finns Vorna are unveiling "Kallioilla", the second single from their forthcoming studio album Aamunkoi which is set to come out on April 21st via Lifeforce Records.




Bassist, vocalist Vesa Salovaara about the song: ''As of today, the day of Finnish culture and our national epic "Kalevala", we present you the second single "Kallioilla" off our upcoming 4th studio album Aamunkoi (out April 21st). The single comes with a lyric video which was designed by Petri Inkinen of Guilty Visuals. With "Kallioilla" we want to pay tribute to our beloved homeland and therefore the single represents the other end of the spectrum on the album with its serene atmosphere and folkish elements.

“This song is one of those that almost wrote itself. After a trip to Northern Finland's wilderness, I sat down by the lake at a summer cottage with a cup of morning coffee and a keyboard. Before sunset, I had the first demo and completely finished lyrics in my hands.

"Kallioilla" (On These Cliffs) captures the brief moment in the serenity of nature, when you can face yourself openly, let your thoughts flow freely, and let all things settle into proper proportion. We figured that releasing it today, on Finnish Culture Day, would do the song justice."
