This is the worst. It’s literally everything I hate about metal rolled into one track: overpolished, bland, generic as hell, written on autopilot. Like someone fed the last three Amorphis albums into an AI and spat out this crap.

Nothing special, this band can easely stop rekord albums and play live old songs. Not impressed .

Based on yesterday's interview on the Finnish outlet Radio Rock, there absolutely will be some changes compared to the previous three. Santeri Kallio pointed out how Jens Bogren basically required the music to have growls on almost every track, and now there was no one telling them what to do in that way. The result? More melodic approach to vocals overall (less growls), although there seems to be significant contrast as usual.

But yeah, if you're expecting them to change into a different band...

Like most of their stuff in the last 15 years.

Already better than (nearly? don't remember) every track on Halo, but sounds like a B-side on Queen Of Time. Usually the singles are the worst of the lot so I can only assume it will get better from here, but still not too promising.

Reminds me a lot of The Beginning of Times, but that might be mostly because it's a Sande song. Mix seems very processed and the vocals are a little buried (unless that's a product of YouTube compression). More sparkly and Pro Tools-y than I'd prefer for Amorphis, but I'll wait to hear it on the album in full fidelity before passing judgment.

WOW, what an unpleasant surprise! This song is so generic, bland and artificial it seems made by an AI. And this is coming from a big fan, they are in my top 10 bands ever
