Atomic Steif joined Sodom in 1993 as the replacement of the late Christian "Witchhunter" Dudek and performed on two albums, Get What You Deserve (1994) and Masquerade In Blood (1995), before leaving the band in 1996.
Guido Richter also drummed for other German thrash bands like Violent Force, Living Death, Assassin and Holy Moses (from 1990–1992 and again in 2007–2011).
No cause of death has been disclosed.
