What an incredible live show. Must’ve been an unforgettable night.

This is/was such a genuinely great band: metalcore done right, ahead-of-its-time prog leanings, melodic interplay, solid songwriting with more complex time signatures.

Watching this set pushed me to revisit their entire discography, and especially Of Malice And The Magnum Heart and Controller (found buried on my hard drive from back in the day) aged spectacularly well.

Even though they helped push the genre beyond the clichés, I feel this band remains overlooked and criminally underrated.

Seriously, if you stumble across this post and don’t know Misery Signals, clear your schedule, turn off whatever garbage other cool stuff you’re listening to, and go check them out.
