It’s been almost four years since Swedish Viking rowers Amon Amarth unleashed The Great Heathen Army, but they hardly sit idle. Now they approach a new way of songwriting on their first-ever acoustic excursion, "Uppha". The single serves as the quiet moment to what lies ahead, before the fury of their next studio album, which according to the label they are currently working on.

"Upphaf" was produced by Jacob Hansen and is available via Metal Blade Records across all digital retail alongside its video directed by Pavel Trebukhin.

Was hyped to hear this but found it middling. I love AA so I am curious about the new album but last couple of releases weren't my jam at all.
